Volunteer Area Descriptions:
Set up/Clean Up
Volunteers will assist with setting up the festival site Friday
afternoon before opening, and assist with cleaning up the site at
closing Saturday night. Come and meet the people “behind the
scenes”!
Raffle Ticket Sales
Volunteers will walk the festival grounds selling raffle tickets
for a “Trip to Ireland” and other prizes. A great way
to interact with the crowd!
Entrance Fee Collector
Come with a friend and collect the entrance fee as people enter
the festival site. Note: This is a standing position that requires
the rapid and accurate handling of money.
Beverage Ticket Sales
You and a partner will be selling tickets to patrons for the purchase
of alcohol and soft drinks. Note: This is a sitting position in
a ticket sales boot and requires the rapid and accurate handling
of money.
Soft Beverage Servers
Volunteers will take tickets and serve soft drinks, water and juice.
This is a sitting position under a canopy. No money handling is
involved.
Alcohol Servers
Volunteers will pour alcohol and collect tickets. No money handling
is involved. You must be 21 or over with a valid I.D. Some pre-training
will be provided. Note: Volunteers will have to stand for the entire
shift.
Club Table/Information/Lost & Found/First Aid
Volunteers will give information regarding the club, selling memberships
and some merchandise, selling raffle tickets for trip to Ireland,
general Festival information and Lost and Found articles. This is
an assignment that involves sitting. Note: Money handling will be
involved - Club members are needed!
Wee Folk Game Area
Volunteers will help children play a variety of theme games. No
money handling is involved. If you love kids, this is the place
for you!
