Membership and Club News
The Irish American Club of Kalamazoo is a nonprofit (501 C3) organization
which is open to all persons interested in the heritage of Ireland.
The Club has grown and now includes members from all over southwestern
Michigan who attend meetings, programs and events sponsored by the
Club.
While the mission of the Club is to foster interest in the culture,
history, music and pageantry of Ireland, it also serves as a springboard
for lasting friendships as people share a common appreciation of
the traditions of Ireland.
The Club offers monthly meetings and special events each year.
A monthly newsletter keeps our members up-to-date. Special programs
and entertainment are a part of each monthly meeting. The St. Patrick's
Day Parade is hosted annually, as well as a Club Picnic, The Irish
Fest and a Club Christmas party. The Club is a proud community asset
offering a distinctive cultural contribution to the City of Kalamazoo.
Annual dues to the Club include discounts on special event gatherings
and free admission to the Irish Fest. The business of the Club is
conducted by a Board of Directors. Applications for membership will
be accepted at any time.
